Sapiens is an environmental sensing technology company. Since 2016 we have engineered a new generation of air-monitoring instruments — fusing micro-optics, electrochemistry, edge computing and IoT networks — that deliver near-reference accuracy at a fraction of the size, cost and complexity of the equipment that defined the last fifty years. Where conventional monitoring was scarce, static and expensive, we make it dense, mobile and everywhere.

This is more than better hardware. By turning the air into a real-time, high-resolution data layer, we close the gap between measurement and action — connecting regulators, industries, cities and citizens to a single source of trusted intelligence. From one street canyon to a fleet of mobile sensors across a city, from a museum safeguarding a Leonardo to a port enforcing marine fuel-sulphur limits, our technology lets people see pollution as it happens and act before it does harm.

Headquartered in Hong Kong with operations across Macau, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Europe and the USA, we design and manufacture in-house under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems, and stand behind every instrument with calibration, deployment and long-term service. Our work spans construction dust, industrial and traffic emissions, indoor air quality, smart-city networks, odour, marine fuel-sulphur and personal exposure — wherever the air needs to be understood.

Our ambition is deliberately large: to make high-fidelity environmental sensing a basic infrastructure of modern life, and to give every community the data it needs to breathe easier. That is the impact we engineer for.
